Jazz for Peace Our immediate goals are to: Continue our benefit concert series which this past year raised money and awareness for over 500 Organizations which we have listed on our website as well as created the foundation for further collaboration. Expand Jazz For Peace™ Concerts to other Cities, States, and Countries. Help to bring music back into the schools and Jazz into schools (many for the first time) so that children of today will gain the exposure, understanding and acknowledgment of America's greatest art form that previous generations did not have. Donate musical instruments to underprivileged children World-Wide.
JJ's List JJ's List helps businesses and people with disabilities build productive and positive interaction in the community.
Joseph Sears School Playground Build Scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2009 Dust off your tool belts! The planned Playground Build project will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are looking for friends of the Joseph Sears School community (age 18 years and older) to help us with this community project. For this project to be successful we need everyone who is able to participate so that the school community's children have another safe place to play. The playground architect will be on hand with the main groundwork already done and will be overseeing the day's activities. All materials and tools will be provided. If you would like to participate in this project please access the online volunteer form that may be accessed on the homepage of the District website www.kenilworth38.org. We welcome and encourage everyone to come out and spend some time with your neighbors on a very worthwhile project. It is not necessary to help out the whole day just sign up for whatever time frame you have available. (Please note; for obvious safety reasons no one under the age of 18 years may be present.)
