| Nature Guide | Do you love nature? Do you enjoy teaching others? Volunteer as a Friends of the Forest Preserves nature guide! Beginning in the spring of 2009, Friends of the Forest Preserves nature guides will begin leading public tours at Somme Prairie Grove in Northbrook and Harms Woods in Skokie. You can help us spread the word about Cook County's natural wonders. No experience is necessary. Guides will learn about the preserves through lectures, readings and field visits during the nature guide training course. For more information and to apply, contact Kathryn Callaghan, Constituency Director at 312-356-9990 or kathrync@fotfp.org. Applications for the 2009 training course are due by February 16.
