Helpline Volunteer Assist Porchlight Counseling Services with our helpline calls. We receive calls from potential clients or people wanting more information about our services. Past experience in the field of sexual assault or social work is required. This opportunity can be done from home- though the volunteer will need to come to our office for training and materials.
JOIN OUR TEAM! At the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago there are 3,000 active volunteers working day and night throughout northeastern Illinois. Volunteers are 90% of our staff and we would not be able to do the work without them. We would love for you to join our team! Volunteers play a vital role in fulfilling the Red Cross mission: preparedness, prevention, and response to emergencies. No matter your interests, skills or schedule, you can make a significant contribution to your community. Volunteers are needed in all areas of our work from instructing courses, providing office support, assisting with disaster response, etc. All training will be provided. It's time to give back and there's no better place to do that then with the American Red Cross.

Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) The mission of the Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) is to ensure that recreation opportunities are available for adults and children with disabilities. NSSRA provides year-round recreation and leisure opportunities for people with disabilities. Individuals with physical, cognitive, emotional, social, or other disabilities residing in the northern suburbs are eligible to participate. NSSRA offers more than 150 programs and events each season and serves approximately 1500 different individuals with disabilities in creative arts, sports, drama, dance, cooking and other areas. Programs are offered at park district, school and other locations throughout the Northern Suburban area. 
Orchard Village Orchard Village supports individuals with developmental disabilities so they can live, learn, work and play in their communities. We support individual choice and person-centered planning for individuals with disabilities 
Peer Services PEER Services' mission is to improve the quality of life in local communities by working to eliminate substance abuse. This is best accomplished by educating the community, by preventing substance abuse from developing, by intervening when substance abuse problems do develop, and providing treatment for those teens and adults struggling with drug dependence or addiction.

West Suburban Access News Association THE MISSION OF WSANA The mission of WSANA will be to provide information and education on issues and information which will be of assistance to persons with disabilities to live independently and be a part of the community in which they live.
